The
Virginia Chapters of APCO/NENA are proud to host the first annual
APCO/NENA/Virginia Interoperability Conference
“CALL FOR PAPERS”

For
the first time the Virginia Chapters of APCO and NENA are combining forces with
the State Interoperability Executive Committee (SIEC) to present one combined
Fall Conference. This forum promises to
bring the best of both annual conferences together for one SUPER conference.
This
year’s conference will be held October 27 - 30, 2009 at the beautiful Hotel
Roanoke in
Submission Requirements
Your
submission should include:
1.
All submissions must be submitted through email to Beth Alter at alter@yorkcounty.gov. For questions call Beth at (757) 890-3776 or
send her an email.
Evaluation Criteria
Proposed
program topics will be evaluated based on the quality, timeliness, relevance,
practicality and focus of the topic.
Historical data from surveys and evaluation of previous events will be
used to analyze potential attendee interest in the topics proposed, as well as
the speaker’s ability to provide a high-quality session.
Other Information
A
more specific conference agenda including special events is being developed and
will be forthcoming.
We
